Heart and Love Token Wrap
Quintessential Paris! This glorious wrap necklace boasts a fold filled puffy heart and the famous French love token. The story of the token comes from the 1889 poem "L'eternelle chanson" or 'The Eternal Song" by Rosemond Gerard.
While the charm can take on a variety of iterations, it is always inscribed “+ Qu’hier - Que Demain,” most often inside of a gold circular pendant with a diamond-encrusted plus sign and a ruby minus sign meaning “For you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.”
It is said that the slight ambiguity of “more than yesterday, less than tomorrow” allows for the necklace to be worn as a stealthy proclamation of love.
However you decide to interpret this classic pendant, its for sure a true classic treasure.
